WNBA

The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) is a women’s professional
Basketball league in the United States. The women’s national basketball association (WNBA)
Was founded on April 24, 1997. It currently is composed of twelve teams.

Salary: The average salary of a women's national basketball association (WNBA) player for the 2012 season was $72,000 while the league minimum rests just above $35,000 for rookies.  Players with three or more years’ experience earn at least $51,000.


Education: The WNBA requires that all players have completed a four year degree from an accredited college or university. She must also have played collegiate basketball. She must also be 22 years old during the calendar year of the applicable season.

Reflection: I would Love to become a a basketball player because I love to play basketball. My passion for basketball is to hard explain. I would like to go to UCLA and play college ball for them.
