Dance/Movement Therapist

Dance/movement therapy, or dance therapy is a psychotherapeutic use of movement and dance to support intellectual, emotional, and motor functions of the body.

Salary: The average earnings of dance/movement therapists generally ranged closer to $40,000 - $50,000 a year, with some earning $60,000 - $80,000 a year or more.

Education: The Alternate Route requires a master’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher learning in combination with general training, specific dance/movement therapy coursework, fieldwork and an internship.

Reflection: I would not like to be a dance/movement therapist because i don't really like to dance. Its a good pay but I don't like to dance like I dance sometimes at parties but I wouldn't want to be a dance/movement therapist.
